In-game archive description
An Anima of Hate, this rabbit peddles tainted donuts. Though suspected of being a cat wearing a bunny hood, no proof has yet been found.
This is the text the game shows for Donubi, transcribed verbatim by the Honkai: Nexus Anima Wiki (English original).
Where Donubi fits
Donubi is an Hate Anima, filed under “Backline Carry” in the archive. Backline carries are the damage plan — they need the front row to hold without them.
In an auto battler the role decides placement rather than button presses: frontline units absorb the opening exchanges, backline units want the fight to last. Check the aspect index before building a team around one Anima.
Donubi — story entry
Donubi's perception of its culinary skills is particularly misguided. It believes that it possesses a talent for making desserts, and happily offers its baskets of plump, crispy donuts to its companions, humbly seeking feedback to further hone its pastry artistry. But alas! It has never succeeded. Every Anima and human that taste-tests either leaves with a pained expression, or collapses on the spot, foaming at the mouth. Donubi is utterly confounded by this... after all, all it did was add a touch of a "pastry chef's love" and some "creative improvisation," right?
