In-game archive description
A peace-loving Anima that likes to play hide-and-seek with humans. It blends into the surroundings well using its natural camouflage, but often gives itself away in moments of excessive exuberance.
This is the text the game shows for Olivesper, transcribed verbatim by the Honkai: Nexus Anima Wiki (English original).
Where Olivesper fits
Olivesper is an Strength Anima, filed under “Backline” in the archive. Backline units sit behind the front row and want the fight to run long.
In an auto battler the role decides placement rather than button presses: frontline units absorb the opening exchanges, backline units want the fight to last. Check the aspect index before building a team around one Anima.
Olivesper — story entry
Olivesper freely admits to being a little obsessive: it cannot bear the sight of withered twigs littering a balcony, nor can it stand the drooping buds in a roadside flowerbed. Whenever that happens, it swishes its long, branchlike tail, coaxing the flowers and greenery to unfurl once more. In the same way, Olivesper cannot stand to see the troubled, downcast expressions on human faces. So it hides within the thick grass, quietly observing, seeking out ways to help in secret. Only then does it close its eyes contentedly, harvesting the bloom of human smiles.
