In-game archive description
This boxing-obsessed poached egg boasts a plump, yielding belly. Off duty, however, its temper softens, often permitting its ears to be knotted behind its head.
This is the text the game shows for Eggnok, transcribed verbatim by the Honkai: Nexus Anima Wiki (English original).
Where Eggnok fits
Eggnok is an Competition Anima, filed under “Frontline Tank” in the archive. Frontline tanks take the opening exchanges so the carry survives to the late rounds.
In an auto battler the role decides placement rather than button presses: frontline units absorb the opening exchanges, backline units want the fight to last. Check the aspect index before building a team around one Anima.
Eggnok — story entry
Human parents often tell their children about Eggluvs growing into Eggnok—from a reckless fighter into one who learns control. Parents hope their children will take it as a model of growth, though kids admire Eggnok more for the cool way he knocks opponents down. In truth, Eggnok is a long-standing member of the yoga club; yoga is part of how he practices control over his temper. Nowadays he works hard to manage his anger—unless you show him baby pictures. Yes, even mature Eggnok struggles to reconcile with his past self.
