In-game archive description
Just when people mistake Chowpownd for something sweet and harmless, it snaps open its cavernous maw and tries to swallow everything in sight!
This is the text the game shows for Chowpownd, transcribed verbatim by the Honkai: Nexus Anima Wiki (English original).
Where Chowpownd fits
Chowpownd is an Insatiability Anima, filed under “Backline Support” in the archive. Backline support keeps the carries alive from a row the enemy reaches last.
In an auto battler the role decides placement rather than button presses: frontline units absorb the opening exchanges, backline units want the fight to last. Check the aspect index before building a team around one Anima.
Chowpownd — story entry
People often mistake Chowpownd for being insatiable. But in truth, it is never hungry—Insatiability is its nature. From birth, Chowpownd can taste the flavor of all things. Indeed, it is a maverick synesthete: to it, jealousy tastes like rich frosting. It devours endlessly, seeking to confirm the essence of everything it consumes. And yet, Chowpownd remains perplexed: of all it has eaten, none has matched the flavor of love. To Chowpownd, love itself is the desire to consume all—to possess all. An eternal paradox. A small jest played by the Aspect upon it.
